BenDeLaCreme & Jinkx Monsoon on Why "Gremlins" is the Ultimate Drag Movie

What happens when two drag icons dive deep into 1980s creature-feature camp? In this episode of The Spark Parade, host Adam sits down with the legendary BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon to discuss the ultimate dark-holiday classic: Gremlins.

Tune in as DeLa shares how the film sparked her lifelong love of horror-comedy and processing trauma through laughter, while Jinkx Monsoon breaks down why every drag queen sees themselves in the chaos of Gremlins 2—and why Greta the Gremlin is an absolute icon.

From practical effects and Phoebe Cates's unforgettable (and unhinged) chimney monologue to the art of mixing bubblegum pop with filthy holiday humor, this conversation is packed with laughs, nostalgia, and pure camp.
